all my posts got deleted woo. nice job. and good to know fixing deliric took only what, 8 months? ......... who else got everything deleted?
Some of my favorite pieces from before only appear in a few paragraphs. And also, (not to sound to whiny) my user page keeps showing me a a man who lives in London- whenever I try to change it, it reverts back to before. This includes if I want to change my picture, password, user statement, birthday or whatever. But don't let the complaints fool you- I am happy to have Deliric back online!
I'm also really glad deliric's back... it's such a neat site. And I do literally mean "neat" - it's not messy! Well organized, you know? I like that. But I do miss that favourite reads box thing we used to have, on the home page. Such a thrill it would give me, every time I found one of my own poems sitting in there!! Now, I came in here because I have a question...I want to edit a poem of mine, and I read the FAQ, and it says that on "My Page" there should be two icons - a pencil and an 'x', the pencil being the one for edit...On my "My Page" though, after each poem, it says: __ comments, share, edit, delete. Anyway, being smart enough, I figured the edit button should allow me to edit, but when I click on it, it allows me to edit everything except the poem itself! =[ I can edit the title, the tags, the brief description...and that's all... So I'd reeeeeeally appreciate it if you could tell me what to do about this. I think it might be a bug that needs to be worked out maybe. Thanks!!
edit: I also dislike how, I typed my entire dilemma (as stated above) with paragraphs and line breaks that made everything easy to understand, but Deliric heaped it all together into a big mass of words (again, see above). Please try to fix that?

Some "deletions" had to do with a bad server hon, I also had a lot of works that were brought back as "partial" or zip LOL Thank goodness I always save copies both, mailed to myself via "snail mail" and on an external drive. Seriously, the web can and should never be trusted as a safe storage for anything *^_^* No worries, just delete the partials and re-post as you had tons of great writing that I and other members would love to see again kk? So far to combat this problem, I have just deleted and re-posted a piece after editing through "word" or some other program til "Help" can check all the complaints out (Aruggg, I have done this several times as I truly suck without "spellchecker LOL All the Very Best, Shad @)~>~
I am really glad to have Deliric back after whoknowshowmuch downtime. I TRIED to look for some other good poetry sites in the meantime, but honestly, none could compare with Deliric. So I hope you understand I am still totally grateful for its return when I say, can we please please please please PLEEEEASE be able to edit our submissions directly again? Please?

Oh and I just realized, you can't delete comments anymore. Could we have that privilege back?
how come we can't see how our work is rated? and how come we can't edit our work? if there's a typo or something, then it's just stuck!

yeah, just about all my posts got deleted except the crap old ones, which I deleted anyway. Also, what is up with the search thing? Everytime I try and search for anything/anyone, it says it can't find anything. Also, I wish we could see how many texts we had read/commented. I was proud of everything I'd acheived before. But, I'm really happy deliric is back. I've missed all my friends on it heaps!
I second what hpfan and liiberar said. I want to edit my works for typos or just to fix things that i dont like but it won't let me edit my actual work, just the tags, title, and comment box.
typos annoy me greatly. i totally zoom into them, when i notice. how come we can't edit our work anymore?
