Those programs are disgusting. Next thing you know you'll just have to put in a subject and the computer will write the poem for you. Poetry is an art of choosing and interlinking words to create aesthetic, meaningful and lyrical text that best reflects the individual's feelings and reflections, not some computer generated words to fit the rhymes. Fuck, poetry shouldn't rhyme if what you want to express doesn't carry words that rhyme, it's an archaic staightjacket for poetry that has been left decades ago...Please people DO NOT use these sites!

In this subject I agree with alexprezanti, however, I wouldn't go as far as to say do not use these sites... but if you're going to use them, well, do it responsably: In the midst of a blockage for one or two words, cool... but to make a whole poem would be missing the point, don't you think?

I whole-heartedly agree Alexprezanti but, for the younger peeps, I believe these tools to be an asset so, by several requests I went on a search to find "help" for the ones desperately wanting to improve their skills and I have found so many here with writes that have just blown me away (concidering the ages) I have been on a personal mission ever since I started to write and the goal is to get published, I'm not the best but, I would love to know that my works will be something that's remember long after I'm gone and I made a silent promise that after I do achive my goal, I would do everything in my power to hold the hand of any "newbie" and guide them along the way........The first step for them (if needed) is achiving "skills" but by far, I agree that you should'nt use these site as a "crutch" It would truely take from the underlying talent....... All the Best, Shad........

I agree with alexprezanti, but I also know of a rhyming thing: www.rhymezone.com it's also a dictionary and thesaurus I think...
