I first started using this site several years ago, but after it crashed- completely, and entirely crashed- I lost nearly 100 unsaved, spur of the moment poems that I will simply never be able to get back. It's taken me awhile to accept this fate and learn from my mistake. But now I feel comfortable posting poems again. In the time that I left Deliric, I have lost and rediscovered myself. Of course as any poet knows, this means lots and lots of poetry to be had at.

Enjoy my poems,

Update: 3/27/10

I'm still writing, or at least I think about it quiet often. So I will continue to post as I finish things. Also, I have decided to pursue an English major in Technical and Professional Writing as a concentration. Perhaps my writing will change a little as I develop my education.

And the body screams its discontent...

A little longer and more broken than my typical posting, but I am satisfied with it for now. I'll call it a work in progress I might not have time to come back to. If the one thing we had to offer was taken from us since the beginning, what useless things we might be.

Simple Sake of Sleep

Sometimes it's not the noose that kills you, but the implication's essence.

You Already Do...

How far would you go to change for someone you loved to make them stay? Sure, everyone says that they'd be nicer, lose weight or dye their hair... but to become the human impossible? Came up with this while driving home the other day. I like it.

Death to the Sun

Just a short something on my mind. Not sure if it's truly finished, but it seems satisfied for the time being.
