I first started using this site several years ago, but after it crashed- completely, and entirely crashed- I lost nearly 100 unsaved, spur of the moment poems that I will simply never be able to get back. It's taken me awhile to accept this fate and learn from my mistake. But now I feel comfortable posting poems again. In the time that I left Deliric, I have lost and rediscovered myself. Of course as any poet knows, this means lots and lots of poetry to be had at.

Enjoy my poems,

-Chicory

Update: 3/27/10

I'm still writing, or at least I think about it quiet often. So I will continue to post as I finish things. Also, I have decided to pursue an English major in Technical and Professional Writing as a concentration. Perhaps my writing will change a little as I develop my education.

To answer pintsize's question...

"Puffy-faced moment- an infant, child, or youth. Babies especially, have big, soft faces from their baby fat. The age is fleeting, before you know it the child has grown past that memory."

Great.. I love the phrasing/word use (haha I'm not sure how to put that). Anyways...definitely going into my favorites! One question: "puffy-faced moment"? Hmmm.

Thanks for all your comments, by the way. They are very much appreciated. :)
