I first started using this site several years ago, but after it crashed- completely, and entirely crashed- I lost nearly 100 unsaved, spur of the moment poems that I will simply never be able to get back. It's taken me awhile to accept this fate and learn from my mistake. But now I feel comfortable posting poems again. In the time that I left Deliric, I have lost and rediscovered myself. Of course as any poet knows, this means lots and lots of poetry to be had at.

Update: 3/27/10

I'm still writing, or at least I think about it quiet often. So I will continue to post as I finish things. Also, I have decided to pursue an English major in Technical and Professional Writing as a concentration. Perhaps my writing will change a little as I develop my education.

"Soon I will be seven,/and soon I will be eight./Tuesday’s tomorrow I’ll turn twenty/because I couldn’t stop,/[or wait,]/or tie my shoes just right." probably my favorite part.

i like this. it'd be stronger if you could work out some more rhymes, it'd feel more natural and sound better. but it's very good as it is. :)

i liked that partt. this really made me think about time;;and getting older. it makes me want to take life slowly through every little perfect detail

The packing "popcorn", you know, that light Styrofoam that you can isolate breakables you are mailing. It also comes in purple and pink.

i really dont know what to say about this. Adding it to my favorites isn't enough to show how much i love this poem. You really are a great writer. Don't ever give up. Ever. Nothing is worse than wasted talent.

This poem was amazing. I really liked your choice of words... it sounds like something from a long time ago. (I suck at history, can't pinpoint the exact time. XP) But yeah, I really like it. I've gotten to feeling like all (okay.. most) guys are jerks recently, so this just about sums it up. Thanks for the great read. :)
