I am trying to push my limits as a writer. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever written about. Work in Progress...
It is a fairly typical write for me with a bit of a more bitter tone. I am working on a title for it, so that will come eventually. I firmly believe that titles can often take away from a poem as much as it can add - if there is no fitting title that comes to mind, perhaps the words don't need a title... though I am open to suggestions. Major difference between this poem and my others? Very little imagery and/or hyperbole. It is what it is, no more no less. As for the poem, there's no fun in a description because poems should be read without preconceived notions or expectations.
