We say that's life, we say just deal
And with time those eternal wounds will heal
And expect them to, but build up brick walls
And hope that eventually, those too will fall
When they don't we don't know how exactly to feel
We cry and those tears maybe help us deal
Deal with the pain, deal with the falling
Not taking those steps, instead slowly we're crawling
And those stairs up ahead seem to start growing larger
And it appears that from paradise I am now farther
Yet always there's something thats worth holding onto,
A friend, my writings something, it's there
